Doug Stevenson is the founder and owner of Abundance Business Solutions Company. Doug is married to his wife of 10 years, Ellie. They reside in historic Hillsborough North Carolina with their two daughters, Faith and Hope.

Doug has a vision for America to prosper and grow through the use of the Free Enterprise System. Businesses that operate profitably and with integrity will revitalize economic downturn and promote community unity and strength. He is commited to fostering a return to morals and ethical behavior in the business community.

Doug is a retired military veteran, having served 24 plus years of combined service in the U.S. Army and NC Army National Guard as an Active Guardsman. The world-class leadership training he received in the military helps him to provide a unique and dynamic environment for his clients in which to learn, grow and prosper.

While serving in the Guard, Doug spend over 7 years as a Unit Readiness Manager, overseeing payroll, personnel issues, logistics and equipment readiness, training and unit preparedness for one of the largest units in the state. During this time he also was a certified platform and small group instructor and taught classes at different levels for both individual job training and leadership development.

Doug also spent 11 years in recruiting command as a field recruiter then later as an area manager and trainer for the recruiting force. This experience includes considerable training in sales, marketing and sales management. Sales training is a real passion for Doug. He is intimately familiar with the rigors, challenges, frustrations, rewards and joys of sales and sales management.

Doug's final three years in the military was as an assistant project manager. In this capacity he had to design an organization chart, position descriptions, evaluation standards and operation procedures for a recruit sustainment program that is still thriving today.

Doug found a natural fit with a major international business coaching firm and has worked with numerous business owners, local colleges and community organizations in this capacity for the last few years before forming Abundance.

Doug possesses a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (with a management major) from the University of North Carolina in Charlotte and a Masters in Business Administration from Liberty University as well as a number of other certifications earned in the military.

Doug also is the owner of two additional businesses and an award winning essay writer.
